Hello Ma, how exactly do we ascertain that this connective tissue is scanty? What component of the connective tissue is it dependent on? Thanks
ReplyDeleteHello Akeju, connective tissue is considered scanty when its volume between the collections of cells is very little in comparison to the overall lesion size.
ReplyDeleteIn this lesion visualise the collections of odontogenic epithelial tumor cells and then the intervening connective tissue, you will find it is rather scant in comparison to overall size of the lesion.
A paper with more pictures of the lesion is in print, I will share it once printed and you will be able to appreciate this better from the whole slide scan.
